The cycle of the summer creative photography seminar “Tinos Diaries”, for children and teenagers aged 9 to 14 years old, was successfully completed, with the the creative freshness of our students as our main companion.

The first day of our workshop was full of play, joy, creativity, teamwork and discovery! Among the traces of Demeter’s Thesmophorion in Exomvourgo and the Temple of Poseidon and Amphitrite, the old cinema Aeolis, the fountain above and Tinian alleys, we wandered and made a circle full of light with old and new students.

The first day of July and the last day of our seminar found us under the shade of a beautiful tree on Spitalia Beach and the golden light of the west to close the circle of friendship, co-creation, teamwork and joy, with the endless blue of the Aegean Sea as a background.

We sent postcards to: distant pen pals who miss the island, to other photography classmates from DESfilms seminars around the world who don’t know Tinos, to aliens from other planets, and we made an invitation for those who want to visit the island upon the children’s request!

Learning to see things differently, we changed our perspective wherever and whenever we needed to, through discovery, laughter, play, joy and the friendly bonds that unite us.
